Understanding Changes

Competitor Watch uses AI-powered analysis to detect and categorize changes on competitor websites.

Change Types

Changes are categorized into several types:

  • Content Changes: Updates to text, images, or media
  • Pricing Changes: Modifications to pricing information
  • New Pages: New pages added to the website
  • Removed Pages: Pages that have been removed
  • Structure Changes: Changes to website structure or navigation
  • Feature Changes: New features or functionality added

Significance Levels

Each change is assigned a significance level:

  • Low: Minor updates (e.g., typo fixes, small text changes)
  • Medium: Notable changes (e.g., updated content sections)
  • High: Important changes (e.g., major feature additions)
  • Critical: Significant changes (e.g., pricing changes, major feature removals)

AI Summaries

For each detected change, Competitor Watch provides:

  • An AI-generated summary of what changed
  • Business impact analysis
  • Actionable recommendations

Viewing Changes

You can view all detected changes in the Changes feed. Filter by:

  • Site
  • Change type
  • Significance level
  • Date range
